Hi, I'm Amelia

I'm so glad you're here.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and owner of Little Minds Family Therapy, LLC. I care deeply about creating a supportive and empathetic environment where young children and their families can explore their emotions, heal, and grow together.

  • How long is each session? How often will we meet?
Each session is 50 minutes in length. We will determine how often to meet when creating your family's treatment plan. In general, most clients are seen on a weekly or biweekly basis.
  • What is the cost of each session?
Clinical sessions cost $125 per 50 minutes. Payment is due at the time of service and can be managed online through your family's patient portal. I accept a select amount of sliding-scale clients for families experiencing economic hardship. Under the “No Surprises Act,” providers are required to supply their clients with a “Good Faith Estimate” which informs the client of the anticipated cost of treatment. This document is included for your review as part of the intake process.
  • Do you accept insurance?
I am credentialed with BCBS, Aetna, Cigna, and Optum. I can provide out-of-network clients with a superbill upon request. Superbills can be submitted to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. Please speak with your insurance company to learn more about your out-of-network coverage.

Why I Do This Work

My passion for family therapy stems from a deeply personal place, and I understand firsthand the importance of having a compassionate guide during difficult times. Your child's age should not determine their access to care. I am here so your little one doesn’t have to wait.

02

My Approach

Let me meet you where you are; that’s the best place to start. I will use different models and frameworks to inform treatment, but you know your little one best. I will rely on your experience and expertise to guide our sessions, and I will tailor treatment to your family’s specific needs, circumstances, and goals.

What You Can Expect

When you choose Little Minds Family Therapy, you can expect a space where you and your family are free to feel and safe to share. Feelings are the foundation for everything that follows and must be understood and acknowledged before any problems can be solved. Together, we will explore emotions, develop coping strategies, and foster stronger family connections. My goal is to be the helper your family needs during this chapter of your story.
